Please join Gannon University in a Black History Month Celebration of the music of Florence Price (1887-1953), the first African American woman to compose a symphony performed by a major orchestra.  Starring internationally-acclaimed pianist Michelle Cann and featuring members of the Erie Philharmonic Orchestra, this student-led program will educate you about a woman history forgot and her incredible contributions to the American musical tapestry.
