The 3rd Annual GREENlight Awards Gala is a night dedicated to honoring and celebrating the brilliance and resilience of Black-owned businesses in our community. This year, our theme, "Ujima Lives Here: Collective Work, Shared Success," embodies the powerful Swahili principle of Ujima, which emphasizes unity, shared responsibility, and collective achievement. Together, we aim to bridge the gap between Black Americans and our African brothers and sisters, fostering a deeper connection and appreciation for our shared heritage.
Join us for an evening filled with cultural pride, inspiring stories of success, and a renewed commitment to uplifting our community. The event will feature African-inspired decor, live performances, keynote speakers, and the presentation of awards to outstanding Black-owned businesses that have made significant impacts in Erie and beyond.
